This was as a result of a reports that petrol prices at Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) filling stations have rised to N850 per litre, from the previous N568.
NLC spokesperson,
Benson Upah raise an alarm during an interview with Daily trust stating that the fuel price movements violates the agreement reached between the union and the federal government.
His words;
“We are planning to meet with the appropriate organs of the Nigerian Labour Congress to take decisions in the best interest of our members and the country.”
